it's finally raining!
hahaha just started. and i love it. yay....
song introduced to me by abi - romeo and juliet by the killers. i like the rhythm, and the lyrics are interesting. and funky XD
well orientation's over now. and for me i think it was the best orientation yet. cause of the formal dinner and the lunch we had today. haha they both have to do with food. maybe i just like food.
the formal dinner was really cool. 08 did a wonderful job of planning it. loved the play and the slideshow - absolutely hilarious. the games were alright too. wish it could have been longer though. but hey, it's good enough
and all through it i was thinking haha this feels like a prom only without the goodbyes. and yeah it's sort of a halfway prom for us. three years done and three more to go. and wow i realise that i have spent so much time in this school...
and i'm really glad about it
yeah. it's not always that you find yourself in a place that you really like, and get to do things that you really enjoy, with people you really love.
i'm content XD
as for the lunch, today during the amazing race, we went to little india and ended up eating in an indian restaurant. and haha i realise it's the first time the entire mentor group has dined out together, with even the mentor there. real cool. the food was brilliant (the manager was really happy about so many ppl coming in XD) and haha i realise i've never tried indian food before. mm i like it, though some of it's a bit too spicy for me. but it's still good XD and learnt a new word. naan. yummy bread-like roti prata-like thing. yay XD
we had lots of fun at the race, got really tired out, and ended up the last class cause we'd taken so long to eat XD but we all went home in rather good spirits. i think. mostly anyway.
my room at the hostel changed. it's now facing another direction. the track and the church... i like the change in scenery, but i miss the lose-all-its-leaves-every-half-a-year tree. there is a really tall oddly shaped one here instead. it reminds me of a table. really.
and today during the mass dance two sky-writers drew a gigantic heart in the sky. i wonder if it was for someone's proposal. or anniversary. haha. really cool though..
mm... sleep
is good!
but i'm not going to get any now
it's almost time for dinner...
but i'm not hungry!
argh
one reason i don't like living at the hostel sometimes, is that i have to eat at the same time every day.
not to mention the roll call and study time and all that
anyway
away for now!
i must fly to other reaches of the earth
(i love you like the stars above, i love you til i die...)
~~~~~~~~~
have you ever tried
turning off the lights at night
and leaving nothing on but your computer
a single light in the dark
playing music (coldplay)
listen with earphones
closing your eyes
just moving
(or not)
inside
you hear nothing
but your thoughts
and then
nothing
