i hope you had the time of your life

today was ... cool

is it possible to like wearing something and yet be uncomfortable wearing it? not uncomfortable physically but like... you feel uncomfortable. well it's sorta what i feel like when i wear like traditional clothes... especially to school. hahaha. today i wore a chiong sam top thingy to school. i like traditional clothes. i like wearing them. just that... wearing them makes me feel odd sometimes. if that makes sense.

doro wore a chiong sam top thing too (i really need to figure out what they're called) and a skirt. she looked so pretty =)

the concert thingy was quite alright. chinese orchestra performed, dance club, malay dance too, a xiang sheng (brilliant!), mm... yeah. some simple game of course. i liked the part when mr png dressed up as the cai shen (or whatever it's called) and threw chocolates into the crowd. hahaha...

oh and mr lim is leaving. again. i don't really know him but yeah any farewell is sad...

after that we had games and food stall stuff. got a muffin from kylie's stall and some sweets from kaihui's stall and fortune cookies from ming yan's stall. hahaha yummy. all of them XD and i got a funky fortune... what was it again... "offer your helping hand to someone who has once helped you" hahaha. doesn't mean much i suppose i usually try to help people whenever so yeah. but haha there was a rather interesting one that rashi passed to me and i passed to divya and ooo.... hahaha

rashi and carmen and i went up to the hall and we played five stones. mdm rohaidah and ms li liang zi are really good at it! hahaha. my hand-eye coordination is as a rule horrible when it comes to catching/throwing things but haha it's still fun. i can do the change stone thing!

our class had our february and december birthday celebration haha. cause the december ppl never get celebrated since we're all on hols so they decided to do it now haha. and the fact that 5 our of 23 of us are born in feb is kinda cool. and the february week-full-of-birthdays thing is really funky.

had yummy oreo cheescake (really really yummy) then ran away...

to go lan!

hahaha went to e2 max or whatever it's called... it's a really cool place the entire floor is just coms and coms and rooms with coms and tvs... gaming haven. basically the type of place i'm very unlikely to step foot into. but it looks really cool and whee...

so yeah. TF2. my first lan gaming session ever. my first com game that requires shooting and stuff and mouse pointing ever. i think there's a name for it but ah. and whee

it was fun!

i played heavy cause it's the simplest class to play. you just click on stuff you want dead. i thought i would have problems navigating my walking but after a while it's actually quite easy and you get used to it. i didn't bump into too many walls. so i shot stuff and got shot and died and revived again. i kept dying. which is sad. but fun. i suppose XD. and i managed to kill some people! hahaha. dylan kept killing me and various other people and i think i managed to kill him back once... or did i not. CTF is fun. abi is a good medic. i just died because i didn't know what was going on that time when she was healing me XD and ah i think i scouts run too fast it makes me kinda dizzy but whacking things with a bat is hilarious. especially if you're whacking people who are whacking back with a bat too. spies are evil. pyros are funny. i think i caught fire twice. hooray for random health packs. and heavies move so slowwww. i think that's the only reason i wouldn't want to keep playing them. and yes TF2 is fun.

very!

hahaha i still find it kinda hard to believe that i actually went laning.

and after that abi dom damien and i went to hmv and browsed for ages... it's such a nice place... music is gooood

then we went art friend and abi bought skin coloured copic markers! and a grey one too! a neutral grey one! hahaha copic markers are funky...

i think i'm biased towards blue.

dom's parents gave me a ride home and then i slacked for about an hour playing rubik's cube and just slacking before going off again, this time for dinner at my dad's old colleague's place. she very nicely invited me for chinese new year dinner yeah... i could hardly remember her but yeah she was really nice to invite me.

i got off at the wrong bus stop and had to run across two roads to get back.

we had dinner at the barbeque area. cause she has three dogs and i'm allergic... yeah. mm at first it felt rather weird cause i really didn't know them. she has two sons they're like twenty plus so yeah it was kinda awkward at first. food was good... she was really nice to ask me what i was allergic to beforehand. yay...

all through dinner they basically asked me lots of questions about school and life at the hostel and stuff like that... yeah... haha. then somehow we started talking about rollercoasters and suddenly we were talking physics and then it went into allergies and western and chinese medicine and side affects of medicine and language and singlish and comprehension and dialects and differences between singapore and hong kong and school cliques and what we talked about during breaks and songs and song writing and plays and swimming and drowning and mm... wow. it was like talking to anyone else in school like all the strange discussions and debates we have randomly and it was really cool cause suddenly talking became so much easier and it was actually interesting and it felt like you were really good friends already it was really cool. it was like how abi clicked with some of the nano people just like that. we could suddenly talk... just like that.

mm and yeah i really enjoyed myself. really interesting way to end the year. chinese year. lunar year. whatever. whee....

and happy new year everyone! 新年快乐,万事如意,龙马精神,步步高升!and whatever XD

yep yep

much love
gnight =)

(i'm gonna stay up real late today. just for the sake of it.)
