what a strange weekend. not only strange. interesting exciting fun as well.

hmm woke up at 630am on saturday, so i could go down for class play. yeah. but i suppose i'm considered lucky. come ppl had to get up at like 5...
mm was the first person to get breakfast! freaked the person at the counter out when i told him i was going to school XD.
mm yumm milo.
err then met everyone. had to put on the make-up for my role of a dying mother XD. when they were putting the eye shadow on i had to close my eyes and i'm like ahhh i'm falling asleep. then they had to put calamine lotion on ( i think that's how you spell it) to make me pale and it's like really cold so i was like all perked up again XD. got my hair messed up and sprayed. whee...
ok. the time had come. so we all trailed in and got everything ready... i remember lying on the table and just staring at the lights... funnily enough i didn't get nervous at all for this play XD. ok. lights on, dom rushes in. blah blah i'm dying passion and compassion model the way!! alphaa (dies) ok. whee. pulls blanket over head.

oh yeah i discovered a way to quickly and neatly pull the blanket over my head from the dying scene to the dead under-a-sheet scene. basically i cover myself fully first, all the way up to my head, and just fold it down to my chest. then when i have to put it over my head i just unfold it upwards. don't have to like yank it up haha.

err whee runs offstage. went to change from the pajamas to the floral skirt and white shirt haha. i've never worn a skirt like that before. whee. mm... tried best to get rid of makeup but oh well.
by the way i still hate makeup. though elaine and chin wee did a really good job. some people said it looked really natural. yeah =)
mm held up the backdrop for the 3rd scene. got ready for coffin scene.... which is the scene i always screwed up on. true enough, i messed up again. but oh well. i sort of improvised. ended ok. true colours wheeeee err end

whee ran outside, organising clothes and stuff.
watched the other class plays. with charmaine! i told her what time our play was and she really came =) haha. yay. ok 02's one was quite ok i suppose. though a bit weird. basically a lot of ppl get murdered (all played by doro) by a cone something (played by lian han) haha weird name yeah. then sri is this father who hacked into the bank and stole a lot of money. one of the murder victims was actually his wife and he's like so sad ahhhh how come you had to die. before that there was this strange part where he has a nightmare or something ... didn't really get that part. well eventually his baby son (daughter?) dies too (cause he dropped... it) and he's like ahh i'm so wretched noooo. err then the last part doro plays this girl who actually fights back the murderer and she goes and reports him to the police... err then there's this scene where she and sri are at the bar... cone guy turns up and shoots doro.. police arrive... sri and cone both die a struggle... err yeah. then in the end sri and wife meets in heaven (quite a nice scene... like doro in white just sitting there swinging her legs and saying "bout time you came." "time to go home now" yeah) and cone guy meets ash in hell and is told he is a "bad boy" and gets tortured with a devil fork thingy... you know? forgot what those things are called XD .... err oh yeah i left out marriane who was the TV news person and reported everything... and erm there was a really funny scene at the police station where ash and ... ooops forgot his name! well the two police officers are discussing the case.
A: "so there have been these murders where where what what..."
B: "hmmm"
A: "and also this hacking in the bank..."
B: "hmmm"
A: "doesn't seem to be any connection..."
B: "hmmm"
A: "might be this cone guy..."
B: "hmmm"
A: " (get's annoyed) can you say something besides hmmm?!!"
then we're all like laughing cause B goes HMMM really loudly XD
whee... yeah. ok i suppose. though there were two injuries resulting from this. doro got her hand cut by scissors when she was struggling with lian han. ouch. two cuts on the palm of her left hand. then jie hong got a canteen bench banged onto his right forearm. was trapped there quite a while. big red bruise... i hope he's ok and that nothing's broken. ahh.... really ouch.

03's one was funny. haha haven't watched a pointless play for a long time. like just a fairytale story, without a purpose or whatever. mmm... basically there are the martians on mars... and they're like the guys, just having fun all the time, tackling each other and having farting competitions (??). err then there's Martin, the martian (xD) the main character. by the way everything was narrated by qc. and martin's like a sort of society reject... loner. he gets these sexy shoes and goes to venus where (basically) the girls all are. erm haha. they have like ettiquette lessons and whatever... the really girly type you know? so then martin sees this "girl" *cough cough* and he falls in love cause of her beautiful eyes and "perfectly kissable lips" and whatever else XDDDD. err then he has a dilema with himself of whether he should stay or go back. goes and reports it to his king, who declared war on venus, cause he thinks they want to conquer their land as well. then they have a war, with the guys losing spectacularly (the whole war is a sort of dance.. quite interesting. fun. ) and the "girl" martin saw ending the war by saying that all they wanted was peace!! err yeah. then they stop. and martin confesses, and the girl's like no way err. they somehow decide to live on earth, which is in between the two planets and is a compromisation. errr. yeah. then they live happily ever after the end.
XDDD whee fun play. now that i think about it, i suppose it does sort of have a moral. mm.... something bout love i suppose (seems like all the plays had love in it one way or another XD... cept 08 yeah ) mm whee... not bad. though the props and set changes were a little disorganised. but haha overall nice
whee 04! whoots impressive first scene yeah? its like boom 3 really nice sets... each with a little scene. go carmen!! really good auntie XD. erm janelle was ariel - really cute girl innocent type yeah? whee... next was becca. wow she did her role real good. isaac was like woah as well. completely in character. both of them yeah. whee. kylie! haha. the office woman. ahh good scene. i liked it when royston walked in and banged the files on the table. reaction was real good. ermm... though the sound screwed up a bit. ah well. got the main idea though.

erm then there's the show. haha darren and david!! rocked!! whee! haha questioning time. that's when the sound started failing. couldn't hear a lot of what was said. mm... then hubert came in. XD
the dinner scenes. i liked the props. though once again had no idea what was being said. sigh. plus forgotten lines galore...
mm ah well. haha. how come hubert ordered 3 bowls again? instead of 2...
jackie was a good waiter XD. the towel was on the wrong arm though XDDD according to charmaine. it's suppose to be on the right haha. i think....
whee.... goes on a bit. hubert chooses racheal in the end. though couldn't hear why. and didnt catch the last few lines either. but oh well. whee the end.
haha nice play. i like the props and the sets! and the settings yeah. but i think it lacked rehearsal yeah....

mm. lunch! whee. watched 08 rehearsing. i told charmaine that their's was real good and she watched and she was so impressed and she's like ahh so much talent i'm so surprised i had no idea!!!! ahh she was like high for some time. whee. but really i like teh 08 play the best. directed by steph the pro and with a pretty good/clear message on freedom of speech. thought provoking yeah? love the symbolism as well. haha samuel's acting rocks. gan, rashi, darryl, tingan, cedric as well duh. they all rocked. uh huh. hmm....
went off for auditions. with charmaine and dom and doro... haha reliving memories on the way there... talking bout wib and whatever else. fun!
mm got there. the area was really nice. love the houses and stuff. wow...
mm went for auditions. interesting in itself. tried out for this nosey reported role wasn't really that interested, but oh well good experience. whee. quite fun. mm.... don't think i'll get in though =)

i saved this as a draft and fell asleep. it is now more than one week later, but i'll put down what basically happened after taht haha.

whee. then ms tan invited us to her house (yay!!!) so we all trouped in. haha it was a nice terrace house with 2 stories whee. she gave us cordial (a drink) and some chicken stuff that we'd just bought from an italian shop then we all went up to her room where we stoned and talked and just talked for a while yeah. her room has this window where you can push out the two panes of glass and all you have left is the grille between you and the outside. ms tan had hung up this red shawl thing on the grille.... and every time the wind blew it would wave up... and down... and up... wow it was so nice to watch. i wanted to do a painting of it!! wow... with the green leaves of the trees outside in the background, and the bed on the inside.. gives it a homely look... and the red shawl of course... wow =)

haha so then we started to talk about drama and the musical... brainstormed a lot. we started singing songs.. random ones... songs we'd just made up... whatever... jotting down ideas and lyrics and concepts on a "toilet roll" yep =) erm hahhahha. it's the zac kinda toilet roll XD. basically it's like a big roll of blank paper ... perfect for brainstorming and writing random things down. introduced to us by zac, the WIB person we all love =) XD. haha. yeah and the name toilet paper has stuck to it. so yeah...

after all that singing and brainstorming we went downstairs to the lounge room. and ms tan was blasting these really old songs... haha really cool... kinda... new as well. whee! then we were all just dancing along, cause only dom seemed to know the lyrics (he seems to know everything sometimes) and he's like mouthing the words and acting like he's the singer and going mad. and we were all going mad. wheeee...

and charmaine came up with these steps for a song on the spot. sorta ballet-ish, contemporary-ish. haha. and she taught me and dom and so we had a guy and girl part. then...

it turned out it was 9 already.

xD and we hadn't had dinner XD. so we went off to burger king. i managed to get some chicken to eat (cause all the burgers have sesame on them) and then we just continued talking and stuff. wow real nice day yeah =) haha then we had the badge presentation ceremony. to charmaine and dom. cause they're the president and vice-president of the drama club =) haha and i took the photo (a really silly one) as usual.. hmm.....

whee trouped home. ms tan gave us a ride on a cab back. so nice of her =)

haha and met darryl in the canteen. charmaine taught him the dance steps on the spot. whee he learns real fast =)

haha ... end of day...

sunday... lets see which sunday was this? oh yeah my extra long one.
our congregation had our prayer day, so church lasted till like 3 plus... really inspiring stories yeah =)

erm went back, where i rushed my maths file (sigh) whee....

haha then after dinner was hanging out with darryl again. he'd actually been looking quite sad for the last week, after his family left... but today he seemed back to normal..so that was the good thing=) haha and it was the anniversary of charmaine and ken wei. so then they were like giving their gifts and everything. so nice =)

haha. whee...

and so ended my super nice weekend. besides the fact that i died for my CR cause i rushed it in 1 and a half hours the next day during lunch =)

whee. ah well.
