incredible

Here's a hymn i really really like:

Draw Me Close To You - Hillsongs

Draw me close to You
Never let me go
I lay it all down again
To hear You say that I'm Your friend

You are my desire
No one else will do
'Cause nothing else could take Your place
To feel the warmth of Your embrace
Help me find the way
Bring me back to You

You're all I want
You're all I've ever needed
You're all I want
Help me know You are near

mm hmm...

have songs made you cry before? i find that hymns make me cry very easily. yeah. there's only one song i can think of that has made me cry that's not a hymn, and that was because it was the song i listened to after sending my sister to the airport after she visited last year...

i'm leaving, again. sigh.

it's really quite tiring, to fly around so much. mm... all the goodbyes and stuff...

oh today i watched a video in church. it was a speech by this guy called nick vujicic. it was really good - made me cry. mm....

i can't find the same speech but this is him speaking at a motivational thingy to adults. the other one i watched was at a school and much more relevant to us, but yeah, if you want to see who he is.

three parts. doesn't seem complete but whee...

things i'm doing during the hols:
learning guitar again. i stopped and i want to start again after... 7 years?
paint t-shirts. yeah.
play more chess hahaha
do some chalk art whee...

other more businessy things:
plan for the drama camp
get the book thief so i can show it to people
get my earphones back

and most importantly:
sleep. a lot.

oh i just realised june is nanomango - it's like nanowrimo but for drawing - 30 pages of art in 30 days. the pictures have to be in some sort of sequence yeah. so it's like comic making. whee. i might go for it but not sure.

mm...

the one thing i'm looking for now, is a purpose.

~

oh oh oh yesterday was the most bizarre day ever.

in the morning, i played text twirl in the hostel com lab with dom.
XDDD
then we went for the closing ceremony for SIMC, which was quite cool. i liked the gamelan performance a lot. whee...
after that i went to the canteen and kylie and rashi surprised me with my birthday present! oo....
yayyayyay thanks so much
and we all went up to get free food from the buffet - prata! yay
then, we had nothing to do.
so viona, steph, dom, johannes and i (oo grammar) went out.
to where?
we had no idea.
so...
first we went to get ice cream =) at island creamery. this was the second time i'd gone there. i like cookies and cream. this time i got it with the apple pie - it was gooood
and we all ended up getting different flavours of ice cream without noticing hahaha
after that, we were bored again.
there's this place called dapalo (or however you spell it) that sells (very ex) italian food. we all went there. and er, stared for a while.
there was a pretty cold storage right next to it, so we went there instead
yes you heard me right.
we went to cold storage for an outing.
(and it was pretty XD)
we ended up spending a lot of time there just going through things and reminiscing about things we used to eat and going oooo over things we wanted to buy (like random sparkling apple juice - niceee). there was a lot of stuff to talk about, surprisingly. very strange.
like all the cheese. we started poking all the cheeses and saying what we liked and wondering what some were and how ewww some looked and smelled and whatever. very random. i know.
but it was so... amusing XDD
and fun!
it was incredibly fun to go to cold storage with a bunch of friends XDD
and after going through a lot of things, viona had to leave
so we left and ended up in the dapalo place again.
steph and dom got pizzas - oo they looked good. so we sat outside and me and johannes looked on in amusement/envy/awkwardness and laughed cause one side of the couches were covered in dried bird poo and for some reason dom and steph deemed it as fine to sit on because it was dried and said it at the same time and for some reason this was very very amusing. and yeah. so random.
they ate pizza and we talked. there was a nice house in the distance which i liked the design of, for some reason.
then two people i'd seen before popped up too - they were from movin's it's my life musical and i'd seen them when i went for the reading before. couldn't remember their names and they didn't recognise me or dom so we didn't say anything. hahaha.
after that we went back and took a bus, intending to go back to school. it takes two different buses to get there, but we missed the stop for the second bus and got off near king albert park, which i still say is a very familiar place that i can't place but for some reason everyone else knew very well. and because we had nothing better to do (which really was the motivation for this entire outing in the first place) we walked up to the random centre with macs and stuff
and there was a video ez there and we all went in and started looking around. there was a movie playing on the screen and we started watching. at first it seemed rather oo?? and then it got quite amusing. hahahaha so we watched it for a while before we decided that we had better leave cause really we weren't doing anything but standing there and staring at the screen XD
whee...
and then steph got picked up by her mum so we walked to the bus stop and took a bus back to school, or that stop opposite the mosque near school. dom went home and johannes and i (grammar XD) walked back to school . he was going back for the farewell party. then i went and had dinner and went back up and slacked.
whee XDD

for some reason, going out like that with no agenda whatsoever was really fun. it was also extremely random. but that made it all the more fun i suppose XD

cold storage!

my grammar has also become very strange.
i need more books
today i went around browsing for books and whee there were so many nice ones
and yay i should stop now cause
actually i don't know why
this post is a good sample of me in an odd mood

(i've started automatically anagramming words especially six-letter ones oh no i'm getting addicted)
