rambling

and now i shall ramble. which is what a lot of people do on blogs. and sometimes it's rather fun to read and sometimes it's just boring. which is how i find my ramblings always turn out. but rambling is fun.

i got a new keyboard! dad insisted on it cause 1) if the one on the laptop spoils then it's going to be pretty hard to replace so i might as well use a different externally-connected one so that if that one spoils i can easier-ly replace it. if you get what i mean. and 2) there are funky shaped keyboards which are good for your wrists and they are fun and dad likes them a lot.

the only bad thing is that they're mostly gigantic. they curve upwards like the keys are smiling at you and then some even have a little mountain shape in the middle so you're like cupping your hands when you type. and some have a little extra pad beneath the keys so your wrists can rest comfortably. i tried typing on one and it's really very comfortable XD

but they're really big. i was afraid it wouldn't fit on the desk.

but after a long time we found a small one which doesn't have any wrist pad but it is curved and the best part is that the number pad to the right is hidden! and not hidden like the ones where you have to press function and uses some of the keys to the right but hidden as in you get to pull it out from underneath the main keyboard on a little slidey thing. and since i rarely use the number pad it suits me really well. plus it's fun. to pull out. and slide in. like wheeee....

and the keyboard is black and curved too. and there are little buttons at the top and they're so fun! cause they're not shaped like keyboard keys but like little tab flaggy things sticking out of the keyboard. so when you press them it's more like pushing them forward so they rotate. XD if you get me.

yep. yay...

and ahhh it's almost halfway through december meaning we'll have to go back to school soon. unlike what usually happens to people i don't get tired of the holidays. at least, not that quickly. i like them. a lot. yeah.

and you know corpse bride? lately i've been obsessing over the piano duet cause it's really really nice and i'm trying to play it. with my sisters. but i can't get the fast parts right cause they're so fast. i need to practice!

oo and erm i've been watching heroes! yay!

i miss tv a lot XD indeed

heroes is gooood. really. it's got a really good plot and wow it goes all over the place. really cool. plus it's got a whole lot of all sorts of characters so many it's hard to keep track of but in a way it makes it all the more cool. mm and so it goes around to all the different characters and all their families and eventually some of them meet and find out about their powers and how some people are trying to control them and some of them die cause there's a murderer who goes after them to take their powers. and some of the powers are really cool haha. and the fact that one of them can absorb everyone else's powers is rather interesting as well. so they all go about and the story isn't only told in the present it goes back to the past for one or two episodes and it goes to the future as well. cause one of them can time travel and teleport. and ooo really it's very well written and executed.

ah. anyway. go watch it. XD

it's showing on channel five right?

anyway, yay for holidays.

and i'm rereading all of sherlock holmes. because it is that good. and there is a serious lack of sherlock holmes fans in our school. anyone who knows of any please contact me.

talking to friends. it's really nice. fun. interesting. whatever.

oh and um

it's odd cause i miss everyone in singapore
but i find i do so at different times.
like.... kylie and rashi pop in now and then randomly. though always together.
and abi i miss constantly.
but darryl only in the day and dom only at night
(i have NO IDEA why)

and yay for long posts.

been reading scripts lately. like... movie scripts. you can find them online. and i read the one for monty python and the holy grail and XDD well lets just say funny is an understatement.

and oo i wish i could write plays/movies. so cool.

though i've never really tried.

oh and you know nano? i've discovered there's a whole lot of similar crazy-rush events all through the year. the ones that i like are
fawm - february album writing month. write 14 songs in february. so that's 2 songs a day... oo... it's cool but i dunno if i can write that many songs. i've written a few before and some were okayyy and some were horrible but it'll be fun...
script frenzy - write a 100 page script in april. oo. seems fun as well but once again i don't know if i can write a script. i've never tried. ah!
nanomango - hahaha funky name. draw 30 pages of sequential art in june. so it's like a comic drawing thing. as long as they tell a story in a sequence... this one seems cool. easier. i think i'll go for it...

yay so february, april, june, and all the way to november. there's loads more in between but those were the ones i liked.

and yes i'm crazy to even consider going for them. but really it's fun...

mm and yeah. off to poke other things on the net. and i'm sorta making it a rule to only come online once every two days. so that i'm not glued to my com all the time. unfortunately this means my travian gets attacked a lot and the second half always runs off with stuff.
