and so again

so today i watched the fifth harry potter movie, harry potter and the order of the phoenix.

went with my class ppl, some of them anyway. wai leng also came along. the vivocity cinema seats are soooo comfortable...

okay, so how was it, you ask. [or not. if you don't want spoilers then don't read =)]

brilliant

it was really really good.

okay, now i know that they changed a lot of the plot, cut out a big chunk of stuff, but really, you have to give it to them, for condensing a gigantic 800 plus page book into 2 or 3 hours.
at least it made sense right.

the graphics were incredible. i loved the way they shot the scenes, angle and movement and such... loved the scene at the ministry... the battle and all. the special effects made it look spectacular... wow... they changed the battle somewhat, but it was good nonetheless. wow ... seeing it, with the movement and dynamics in front of you, it really makes it come alive, and you're practically at the edge of your seat throughout the battle scene...

haha the new characters are cool =)

there's luna lovegood.... heehee i like her. she's so funny and innocent and bizzare. whee... really cool, the way she's portrayed in the movie. a more friendly and pure image than what i got from the book.

heehee tonks is funky =) she doesn't say much, and she's only there at the beginning and the end of the book, but yeah. she's funky =)

umbridge!!! ahhhhhhhh
ok ok the actress is genius anyone would hate her the moment they saw her cause she played the role so well. like really. with the laugh and horrible clothing and smugness and ewww.... yeah. it. was. perfectly. in character. i have no complaints!
though they did leave out the black bow and such. but oh well XD

hmm... yeah they left out a lot of stuff... and changed a lot as well. but overall it was nice... heehee i like the room of requirement, though they could have made it funkier by making it change and stuff when they needed it to. wheee... end is also good...

basically, watch it as a movie, or a new perspective to the book, rather than a movie to the book. cause if you do, you'll be sorely disappointed. A LOT of stuff is cut...
