new year

happy new year!
today i shall post a few photos of hostel life here. whee.

strange. i can't see anything... wait

bother. oh well.

anyway, today i saw i rainbow! and a really big one too! i think it's the first time i've seen a rainbow in singapore.... no actually it isn't. but it's one of those rare occasions. i took a picture, but for some reason i can't upload anything. at least i can't see anything i uploaded...

heehee. talking to darryl now on msn. he's moving into the hostel tomorrow. it'll be nice to live near people i know again. at least know better than people i just met...

loneliness settling in. today i spent most of the day reading saving connor and listening to music. then i washed my clothes (went up to 7th floor to do that) and hung them up (went back down to my room on 2nd floor to do that) and got bored. so i took my book and my notebook and escaped to the school roof for an hour...
really nice there. the wind and everything. it was raining then, so i went under the sheltered area. really nice. and peaceful. i think i'll go up there again sometime.

school's starting in two days. sigh. i haven't even properly holidayed yet. haha. just been in school, studying for exams... sigh. then i have to come back to school again after just a week of no-school-ness. hurm...

oh well. nothin i can do about it.

i want to start reading a lot of poetry this year. maybe i'll start on the books kylie was reading...
