whee

this post is entitled whee because i am going to write about the word whee. and other things.

i first encountered the word whee before i could remember. an expression of
happiness/joy/delight/enthusiasm. however, i always thought it was spelt wee, without the h. i first encountered it with the h in term 1, 2005 in nus high school, when a certain girl called abigail wrote it under my pic/symbol for our english noticeboard (which, as an extra note, turned out to be completely useless). ppl in nushigh also like to use the word a lot. so began the whee-ing.

now, i'm not sure who started it, but if someone was going to copyright it, they should have done it way before now. haha.

mmm. now what.

there's this little alert up there on my screen, which, as far as i can tell from the chinese, is saying that there will be a blackout at 2pm PDT (they used ting2 dian4, but i think they just mean that the website will be down). i tried converting it into here time, but then i don't really know how to work that converter thingy, but i got that it'll go out pretty soon.
