an interesting day

Yesterday was a rather interesting day. I think I'll tell you (whoever you are) about it.
First, I missed the early train for school in the morning. There are two trains I can take to school and be on time. One is around 6:45 and the other is 8 minutes later. I usually take the earlier one, cause I do, but yesterday I just missed it. That was the first interesting thing.
The second interesting thing was that when I was on the bus after getting off the train, I fell asleep. And I had to be woken up by one of the teachers who happened to be on the bus. Funny right? haha.
When I got to school, assembly was relocated to the hall, even though it wasn't raining. We usually have it on the track. Then during assembly, a guy in year 4, I won't mention names, had to make a public apology due to the fact that he had punched a hole in the division in the auditorium. Funny right? I mean it's funny that he had managed to punch a hole in the wall in the first place, and he hadn't meant to do so. Unfortunately, this act was considered vandalism. He has to do community service or something now. At least he wasn't expelled.
Then during mentoring we had to do origami, of all things. Not that origami is bad, just that it's a funny activity for mentoring. It was for maths week, so we had to fold docedahedrons and stuff. It looked quite pretty when done.
The only part of this intersting day that wasn't interesting was FPS, Future Problem Solving. The boring lecture as usual, but it was a bit interesting how we could finaly get to work on the real future scene, instead of practice ones.
Afterwards, I went to the canteen to put down my bag, met Rashi and Kylie, told them that I would be back in half an hour and rushed off.

I went for prayer meeting during, and before, which many interesting things happened. The prayer meeting is scheduled at 12.45pm every Friday at the "Robbie", a code name for the rooftop lobbie, if you see what I mean. I went up there at 12.40 to be early, but it was completely empty, which was strange, as I had always found people already there in the previous weeks. So I wandered around the little space that is considered the Robbie, and watched the lift in case anyone came up. I waited for about 5 minutes when I decided to press the lift buttom to go down, in order to, well, go down. I watched the numbers on the panel above the lift go up, up, up until 6. The door slid open and......
SOMEONE CAME OUT. haha. yeah, a guy was inside. we both waited for about 5 minutes more and then decided to go down. I went back to the canteen, chatted with Kylie and Rashidah for a while, wondering where everyone was. I assumed it had been cancelled without me knowing. We decided to go exploring, or walking around for no particular reason. We went up to the roof, cause it's nice tehre anyway. And when we stepped up, there were people there! ah! oh well.
The best thing that happened after that is that Kylie decided to stay with us for the meeting. She's not a Christian you see, and I've been praying for the two of them and that I'll get a chance to tell them about Jesus. Rashidah is a Muslim though, so she chose to just sit at the side. My friends are very open I suppose, and I'm glad that they are.
After that, I had an extreeeeeeemely rushed lunch of Chicken Chop. The prayer meeting had taken much longer than expected and I had Drama at 2pm. I hurried off to get my bag, trying to remember where it was. I tried the library, searched the seats there, the tables, the floor...but I couldn't find it. Blah. So I then suddenly remembered that it was in the canteen!!! AHH!! and I was ever so close to being late. So I ran all the way back, my default method of travelling these days, grabbed my bag, and ran up the steps to the hall. I met the Drama people walking round and round the hall. They were lost. Oh. Well so much for that.
So I made it on time, and the auditions for this Act 3 thing was as fun as ever, and as interesting as Drama always is.
Well I think that's all really. A interesting 10th of February
