a strange day

watch the time fall
ticking by
like an avalanche
of catastrophes
the seconds
miniature pencils in multiple colours
strokes of the long hand
firsts
colour coded socks
watch the rain fall

wait
for eternity
it's not about the turning around
make a sound
of waiting for eternity

it's the same
wherever you go
listen to the rain
patters down slow

songs of memory
songs of days
songs that seem to stay in my heart
my soul
forever
letting the rhythm run through me
wash through my veins
lift my spirits
pulling me on
with it's steady beat
coursing through time
feeling the notes
rise and fall
waves of emotion
translated to sound
to highs and lows
to steady flows
melodies so enchanting
beauty heard so vividly it's almost substance
touch it
with your fingertips

watch them turn
change
dance into another form
so very different from before

throwing together words that seem to fit my mood at the moment
and letting the rhythm behind them talk for me

to me there is

there's the sort of rhythm you have to catch up to or slow down to
when you talk to people
and the rhythm is different for different people
there's the mellow medium rhythm of kylie (sort of like a river)
the light suddenly-changing-speed rhythm of rashi (sort of like a dance)
jun yup has this strange quick pounding one
which sometimes sounds more like just vibrations in the air

and sometimes pictures have rhythms too
more like giving off a vibrating atmosphere?
